Hi everyone,
I am a 17 year old high school student and I wish to pursue a career as a film Director.
I've been willing for some time to buy some cinematography books to help me shoot my short films, and I have read some of your threads recommending some of them. But as I live in Buenos Aires, I can't get hold of any of them.

Could you recommend me any website or e-book I can download? I would need some tips on lighting, filters, camera handling, etc.

Thanks!

You can't buy books online, like on Amazon, and have them mailed to you in Brazil? Looking here:

http://www.amazon.co...8115965-0721516

It doesn't look unreasonable.

I've actually considered this, but it is quite expensive for me, because here in Argentina a dollar is worth 3 pesos (our local coin). Therefore, buying things in dollars is for me three times as expensive as it is for you. And considering I am still in high school with no income, and I am wanting to buy a camera, I don't have much money to spare :D

Anyway, thanks for your input, David!
