Hi guys,

just a quick question as I'm being mad searching for that...how can I mount a Kinoptik 12.5 mm Grand Angle Special with Cameflex mount on an Aaton Minima PL?

I really want to use this beautiful lens on my new babe.

Thanks

Giorgio

The flange depths and diameters of Cameflex and PL mounts are too close to make an adapter feasible unfortunately. If someone is claiming to sell one on ebay or something, it will not reach infinity and most likely will only focus very close.

I looked into converting a set of Cameflex mount Kinoptik primes to PL and even that was quite tricky and would have required new housings to be manufactured.

Even if the lens diameter at the rear is small enough to shift the CA-1 flange the 4mm behind the PL mount flange, you will be hiding the focus scale.

There are one or two new style Kinoptik primes floating around with modern housings and PL mount. Hard to find. I wonder if they only make them to order.

Giorgio, you can of course use the older Kinoptics with CA-1 on your ACL. Almost as compact as an Aminima .....
