Hi everyone, 

 

I'd like to ask. 

 

For example, when im testing a camera sensor and let's say im overexposing my key by one stop, is there a way to calculate how much i should bring down the exposure in Davinci to see how it looks like precisely 1 stop down?

Same thing with underexposure, if i underexposed my sensor by 2 stops, how do i know when i brought it back up to "normal" exposure exactly by 2 stops in resolve.

Well, that's what the scopes are for. I always balance my images to the scopes. So the highlights are at the top of the chart and the blacks are at the bottom. You want your entire image (if possible) to be within the top and bottom of the scope graph.
