I just picked this up for a couple buck & not sure what I have.  I haven't tried it on anything yet but the threads may be 55mm or something near that.  It certainly won't screw into any of the D or C mount lenses I have.  I have the Vario Switar 12-120 but it's too small for that.  Looks brand new to me and kinda neat but it would be nice if I can do something useful with it :)

The photo (lens and case) Attached File  4mm.tiff   246.96KB   14 downloadsis actually off the web but that's the lens.  It says Bolex, Aspheron, and 4mm on it.

(if that attachment link doesn't work, i'll try again)

It's made for a Bolex super-8 camera.
Might work in front of a 10mm prime.

Pretty sure its made by Eumig, was made for later Bolex Super 8 cameras that were also made by Eumig. I have one and want to try it on front of a Leicina 10mm Cinegon, but need appropriate setup ring.
