Best tripod for 16mm camera

My new camera weighs about 9 pounds and I've been looking at some tripods. I don't have any knowledge in what to look for. Can anyone tell me what to look for in one and recommend some quality, but at the same time, affordable tripods?

 

I know that everyone wants the best quality without paying a lot of money. But filmmaking is not my  normal day job and so I will be using the tripod just so every now and then when I have a new project.
