Im new to this camera, and wanted to know that is it True 24p prog scan? or does it emulate it>

True progressive scan.

Though it does lay the 24P onto tape as 60i, so you'll need to remove pulldown in post...

Yes, for the NTSC version, true 24P capture (or 30P) but always recording it as 60i (NTSC), with two options for pulldown to convert 24P to 60i.
