Hello, please can anybody answer a few questions,
Is the lab in Switzerland closing for 16 and 35mm k14 processing??? if so when?
Why did kodak ditch k25 and keep k40 ( i assumed k40 was kept due to high super 8 sales of the product) as i find it hard to believe 16mm k40 is more popular than k25.
Has kodachrome got a future, will it still be available in say two years time?
My last question, when is the last date that i can get super 8 k40 processed at Switzerland. Thankyou for any replies. Andy

The Kodak website has the latest "official" information:

http://www.kodak.com...ws/super8.jhtml

http://www.kodak.com...ews/kodqa.jhtml

http://www.kodak.com...news/ekqa.jhtml

As part of the portfolio revamp, Kodak will discontinue sales of its S8 KODACHROME 40 Movie Film. Final sales of KODACHROME Super 8 will be based on product availability over the coming months. Sales of KODACHROME 16 mm films will continue, unaffected by this announcement.

Kodak will give customers at least a year to process their KODACHROME Super 8 film with Kodak or seek an alternative.

KODACHROME 25 Movie Film 7267 was discontinued in June 2002:
