Just got our Velvia 35mm dailies back from Spectra Film and Video in North Hollywood. I am happy to report that their E-6 processing is spectacular. The film was very clean with no color or exposure shift. Customer service was also great (as always).

I had the best results I have ever seen shooting reversal. Even their video dailies looked great! Its good to see another high quality specialty lab going at it with so many other labs closing up.

Yes, many of the same people, same machines.

They have upgraded to offer convenient rank/davinci dailies (mine looked quite good). Their lab services now include motion picture 35mm (as well as 16 and super 8) ECN-2 neg processing. They will also be running motion picture film loaded for still cameras sometime soon.

They seem to specialize in offering high-end quality and stylized looks on film with excellent customer care. My neg cost a bit more to process, but, it was convenient for me to drop everything (including velvia) off at one spot to get it back with video dailies super fast. The processing was top notch. Plus, they really went out of their way to make the production run smoothly (including sending one of their people to fed ex to iron out our film shipment problem). Well worth it!

They have moved from Sun Valley to North Hollywood, but the main number is still the same.
