Does anybody know the true resolution of the ccds? I assume they are 1280x720 and if so then I guess the 1080 modes won't be true 1080.

Also what is the lux rating? Is it anything close to F11 at 2000lux like the DVX? Since it is the same ccd size 1/3inch and smaller pixels I assume low light performance will suffer.

And do we know for sure that Firestore is working on a hard drive solution for this DVCPRO HD camera and not just one for HDV?

This maybe the camera for me since I thought the stuff from the JVC cam looked way to contrasty and had a stutter motion effect on moving cars. Though I wish I could have the HVX200 with a Real Lens. <_<

it uses pixel shifting in order to get 1080p.
