Fastest 16mm C-mount lens

I've got a shoot coming up inside a dark room, seemingly lit only by hand-held lanterns and flashlights. I can put more light in the room, but it has to look like it's coming from these elements.

What's the fastest C-Mount 16mm lens I'm going to be able to get my hands on? A 1.4 is the fastest I've seen around so far.

Hi, the fastest c-mount lens i have used is an angenieux 25mm f0.95, gave good results. You could look out for schneider cine xenon lenses, only f1.4 though. Or a zeiss 9.5,12,16 or 25mm in arri bayonet mount and use a c-mount converter, these are f1.2. You may get away with f1.4 glass and use 7218 stock, i have been stunned with the stocks low lite capabilities.

I have seen a Comistar f1.2 before.

But the Agineaux 0.95 is the fastest c-mount I've seen in general use, very sharp.

But keep in mind that the depth of field at f/0.95 is almost zero; you have to be spot on with your focus, otherwise you'll wind up with a lot of properly exposed but blurry film.

Don't neglet that old cameras often have 1/30 sec at 16fps. You could also shoot at 8fps and have everyone move slowly :D

Actually, the information I have is that Angenieux 25mm f0.95 is a re-housed Schneider Xenon 25mm f0.95. So Schneider also has a f0.95 lens and it's the very same glass of the Angenieux you mention.

could be a decent solution to buy a c mount adapter for still nikon - canon - olympues lenses?
