I desperately hope that those who relocated to work and live in the New Orleans area are safe. I know of many crew that have recently moved to the area, including the lighting division of Panavision (which moved from Orlando just a few months ago).
Has anyone heard from friends or crew from the area?
I'm really interested to know what this is going to do to production in the SE and Louisiana region. Obviously the flooding and hurricane has put a full stop to all production indefinitely.

Ooops, that was from me, not Chainsaw. Forgot he was still logged in.

Now it's dark...

The transpo captain on my last movie (Jeff Couch) went to New Orleans on a show I can't remember the title of. He has over 30 trucks there, so hopefully everyone got out okay.
