CAN ANY ONE TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO CAMERAS. HC1 COST SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN FX1 I WONDER WHY? HC1 CAN'T ACHIEVE FOOTAGES AS GOOD AS FX1?

The HC1 is a very toyish looking cam about half the size of a GL2. And being small it has a tiny lens compared to the FX1. That means its much worse in low light. It has 1 CCD instead of 3 (although the footage I've seen looks great). It doesn't give you the cineframe mode options--its straight interlaced video at 60i. Its way to small for shoulder mount work. If you want to use the internal mics for anything I would guess they're pretty bad because of how small the capsules would have to be to fit into such a tiny cam. And of course there are far fewer options on the HC1. If you're looking to save money, the Z1 can be had for not too much more and its a better cam in every way.
