I will be shooting a feature on the sdx-900 the month of October. Is there any places I can go to get a little bit more experience with it without paying money. I just want to learn how to use it, i've only used it once, and that was 2 years ago.

There is a great deal to know. Call and get a Goodman Guide from Abel Cinetech:

read it, then take it with you when you go to check out the camera at the rental house.
