I'm looking for a book that gives a good overview of HD and the differences between it and film. I don't know how up to date any of them are, but I'd love to be able to read something that will allow me to better understand the changes that are happening with HD currently. If anyone has any recommendations, let me know, thanks.

Scott Billups' "Digital Moviemaking" gives a great overview on HD.

Also Paul Wheller's "High Definition and 24P Cinematography".

Wheeler is a good writer of these books. Highly recommend him.

Wonderful. I am actually reading his "Practical Cinematography" right now and am very much enjoying it.

Also Paul Wheller's "High Definition and 24P Cinematography".
