Good Filters for DVX100A

are tiffen filters (round 72mm) good for the dvx100a?

and what is a good tripod for this camera?

As opposed to what? Are you making a comparison? Do you want to know if they'll fit?

just quality wise and if they are right for the dvx100 camera ie they fit properly etc.

I wouldn't bother using Tiffen filters on a DvX... they get all pissy and irritated, unscrew themselves off the lens and before you know it, your pets are all knocked up, you're unemployed and your kids are on crack..

I've seen it happen..

Boy that sucks. That never happened to me, I like the Tiffen filters. If you're really worried about them falling off, I guess you could get yourself one of those lens/filter spanner wrench jobbers on Film Tools. And then neuter your pets and send your kids to rehab, it'll be fine.
