troubles in digital film shooting

when i am shoot in digital HDV camera some times motion blur is appearing on screen why it is happen?

I was watching some sports in HD at the electronics store this week, I noticed that when the camera panned there was a lot more motion blur than you get with standard NTSC.

I have no idea why this occurs? We'll need one of the really tech savy members to answer this one.

Are you viewing on a LCD HD monitor? The LCD screens do have more of a motion blur effect during camera pans than a tube monitor, just because of how they are made.

it can be a drop out phenomenon curent problem in hdv, they discussed about it on the dvxuser forum on an excelent erticle where the compare hdv, xl2 and the agdv100a

Watch if there is any steadyshot on, and try higher shutter speeds, this will not solve your problem but if u experiment with shutter speeds, maybe u will make it less.
Also check if you are shooting interlaced or non- interlaced.
