Please help us settle a lively discussion:

Was Elizabethtown shot in HD?

Was Oliver Twist shot on Fuji stock? Which ones?

Thanks.

"Oliver Twist" was shot on Kodak stocks 5205 and 5279, more info in American Cinematographer September 2005.

"Elizabethtown" was shot on 35mm, apparently they either began shooting or intended to begin shooting on 5293 (EXR 200T), but then switched over to 5217 (Vision2 200T) when John Toll decided he preferred the new stock. I have this on report from one of the camera interns/PA's from the set, so maybe that's not definitive for your purposes. I'm sure there will be info in the next few weeks as the release date draws near.

Thanks for the info.

Has anyone seen the trailer for Elizabethtown? Was there some quick DI work done on it? Why the strange noise, high contrast, and little dynamic range?

Also, any special lab processes on Oliver?
