Hi,

P+S is a very small company. They can't start work until cameras are available!

Landon,

Just had a meeting with Alfred from P+S Technik. They hope to get a camera in 3 weeks and will start work. He thinks its not that difficult so early next year hopefully.

I'm looking at the guerilla 35. They are developing with the camera in mind. They are saying the system will be out by Christmas. The test shots look better than the redrock micro imho.

Does the HVX200 have any option to flip i'ts lcd built in? I've seen this on other monitors before. I know some cameras do this automatically when you turned the viewer around.

The mirror image/flip feature when the LCD is turned around remains, so the subject being filmed can see themselves correctly. There is no option to flip the image vertically in the viewfinder or LCD in the standard position.

That's a shame - Panasonic should code some obscure (or simple) key combination in the menu to access this capabilitty. If it does it on the turning of the LCD, it has the capability. What a great and simple and much appreciated hack that would be! There's still time.... Jan?? :)

Cameras are already in production, so unfortunately, no more requests can be made at this time. Several people have asked for this feature, however, so perhaps it will make its way into a subsequent version of the camera further on down the line.

Doesn't the old magnet trick work on the HVX? I understood it did but haven't tested it out myself.
