Hi, having used a couple of 400ft loads of 100D 16mm film, i found the saturation OTT, will kodak ever offer a less saturated version or say a 50 asa version. I think kodak once offered 50asa for the 35mm stills market, could this be released or a more mordern 100asa film in the super 8 or 16mm market?

If you really see a need for additional product offerings, you need to talk to your Kodak technical representative. Even existing films from other Kodak divisions need a very good business case to commercialize in the motion-picture formats because of all the certification testing and possible formulation optimization required. 5285/7285 has found favor BECAUSE of its increased saturation. Those wanting a more naturalistic palette usually chose to use the Kodak VISION2 Color Negative films.
