Hi, I have with me an Innovision Probe with Follow focus control system, I dont have the regular Camera Safe 12V batts with me, just Anton Bauer Batts, since Anton Bauer Hytron Batts and Dionic go up more than 13v, have yoiu any Idea if powering the Follow Focus system with an Anton Bauer Batt, will blow any fuses or blow the electronics inside the FF control?
Thank you so much.

Check the electronic disclamer at the bottom (usually) of the camera. It should have a pannel saying what it is expecting in terms of power. It will have volts and amps. I would imagine if it requires 12v and the batteries put out 13.4v it should be ok (the camera should have internal power regulators.) however I wouldnt try it until you can get one of their engeneers to comment on it or unless the bottom pannel has a max power handeling rating as well.

A cheap way around it, one I used to power a camera off a car battery (dont ask why) if you go to national semiconductors website (I beleive its national.com) and click under power regulators you will find several that regulate to 12v. they take a wide range of voltages and drop it down to 12v. They are not hard to design a cuircut around (if you can wire a lamp you should be fine.)

They have 3 pins. power in, power out and a ground.

_______________
+ o---------{ Voltage regulator }--------o (12v out to camera)

- o------------------o----------------------------- ground to camera

hope that diagram isnt too hard to figure out
