Anton Sorokin Posted July 22, 2016 Posted July 22, 2016 I start shoot and edit video not so long time ago, I bought my first camera one and half year ago. But I love this my new way. Want to show three of my works and hope that you point to my mistakes. It was shooting without some scripts because was planned and shooted very quick (( https://vimeo.com/147141329 https://vimeo.com/160577009 https://vimeo.com/157612330 Thanks!
Premium Member David Mullen ASC Posted July 22, 2016 Premium Member Posted July 22, 2016 It's hard to know what's a mistake in a music video, but glancing quickly at all three, I didn't see many problems, they were well done considering your budget and experience level. I'd say that in the first one, the night exteriors could stand to have the blacks lowered to match the contrast of the surrounding footage better. And in the last one, you should try and match the color of the snow a little more when doing a direct cut of the same action, until there is a bigger change of location and time of day to justify a change in color cast.
Anton Sorokin Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Biggest Thanks Mr. David Mullen!! Your opinion is very important for me. I have problems with color grading, I will try to correct my mistakes :-( I was watching your works, You are great person. And it was pleashure to get your advice. Thank you very much!!!
