Like many others on this forum, I have a deep and desparate hostility for most forms of advertising however I must admit that this ad really blows me away. It's the one with the A8 inside a warehouse, being examined by a forensics team.

Does anyone have any information on this ad; DP, Director, Camera, Lights, Stock etc... Everytime I see it my eyes feast on the visuals, especially in the cinema and it would be great to know how it was put together.

It was directed by Peter Thwaites out of Gorgeous Enterprises in London (of Frank Budgen fame). Shot by a czech DP who's name I've forgotten now. Peter Thwaites used to be a DP himself, so that probably helped.

It looks fantastic - mainly because it's one of the few commercials that has been aired where darkness was emraced. All clients and ad agencies have a pathological fear of moodiness and darkness in spots - that's why one can't help to notice the few that stand out.

"desperate".

when you say you despise advertising, do you mean to say you think most commercials are made poorly or do you mean to say you think that all advertising is detrimental to society etc. etc?

not a bad looking commercial i suppose. can't say that in a week i'll remember who it was advertising, but the green and blue looked cool together.
